The following is a list of common file formats we accept:
Raster: Photoshop (.psd), .jpg, .tif, .bmp, .png & .pdf*
Vector: Illustrator (.ai), CorelDraw (.cdr), InDesign (.indd), .eps & .pdf*
A vector is a mathematical representation of a geometric form. Basically it is an outline filled with color. Programs such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Corel Draw are all natively vector-based applications that allow designers to create artwork where the resulting file is a collection of vectors. Some examples of vector-based file extensions are .AI, .CDR, .EPS, .PDF, etc.
Raster-based art files are design files that are made up of small colored dots called pixels. Each of these tiny pixels put together creates an image. The quality of the design file depends on the size of the design that was created, and the resolution or dots per inch (dpi) of the file—this will be the total number of pixels. The higher the pixel count, the higher the quality of file. Some examples are raster-based file extensions are .JPG, .TIF, .PNG, .PSD, etc.

The turnaround time for your average sign project is around seven business days from the time we receive your artwork or create the artwork for you. This varies based on your specific needs. We keep all the major materials in stock because we understand our clients needs are sometimes more urgent. We also work with suppliers that are close and deliver the same or next day, so we can complete rush jobs if we need to. Large projects may require a longer turnaround.

PPI = Pixels per inch – the number of pixels per inch in screen/scanner file terms
DPI = Dots per inch – units used to measure the resolution of a printer
LPI = Lines per inch – The offset printing ‘lines’ or dots per inch in a halftone or line screen
To print standard size signs and vehicle wraps, raster files should be a minimum of 72 PPI to 200 PPI at full size
Large format or billboard size should be a minimum of 10 PPI to 30 PPI at full size
The following is a list of file formats that we do not accept:
Publisher, FlexiSign, Quark, CAD, or Word documents.
COLOR MATCHING
We can come close to matching almost any color. In order to match a color, please provide us with a Pantone (PMS) number or a physical sample. We use the Pantone Matching System and we print 4-color/4c CMYK. Certain colors are impossible to match exactly on some forms of media.
When you add text to your file it is important that you “Outline” the text also called “Convert to Curves” before you send it to be printed. This changes the text and more importantly, the font into an outline. This allows us to handle the file without having the font loaded on our system. You may also alternatively send the fonts with your files.
